Slap Hitting Camp

DMACC Coaches have coached 12 All State or All Americans, 18 All Region Team Slappers, and 29 lefty slappers that have earned scholarships to 4-Year Level Colleges!

Work with Nationally recognized DMACC softball Coaches to develop the skill set to become a 4 tool lefty:

  1. Bunt-Tap-Chop
  2. Soft Slap
  3. Hard Slap
  4. Hit Away
  5. Slash
  6. Push

Grades: 7th - 12th
Time:
Session 1:  9:00 - 10:30 am
Session 2:10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $95.50
($90 + $5.50 Fee)
*Additional $5 when signing up at the door

Location: DMACC Fareway Fieldhouse

The Clinic will include:

  1. Overview of basic Slapping Fundamentals and footwork
  2. T – Drills
  3. Side Toss drills
  4. Front Flip/Toss Drill Work
  5. Daily Practice Drills to Improve Skills
  6. Strategies to attack top pitchers and defenses!
  7. The Following will be taught:
    1. Bunt-Tap-Chop
    2. Soft Slap - Placement
    3. Hard Slap
    4. “Slug”
    5. Slash
    6. Push
  8. The LEFTY will then work DIRECTLY with DMACC Hitting Coaches to become a HIT AWAY left handed hitter.
